This course is required for all international students who have chosen the Russian medium as the medium of instruction for their degree programme. The duration of training is 10 months (1st October to 31st June). International students are admitted based on the certificate of secondary education. For Malaysian students, admissions will be based on the attainment of SPM, O-Levels, STPM, A-Levels, or HSC (London) certificates.
This course provides students with an intensive and systematic study of the Russian language as well as the study of the pre-requisite subjects in Russian, for example Chemistry, Biology, and/or Physics, at a more advanced level.
It is only upon the successful completion of the course will students be admitted to the first year of study of the chosen degree programme.
